I recently replaced 23 windows with 2 rigid scraper blades. They are easy to re-sharpen when you wear them down. I preferred the rigid to the flexible for dealing with 30 yr old caulk and plaster that got in the way. It seems nothing can stop the little tool that could.

The flexible scraper that comes standard with the Multi-Max is great for tasks such as removing caulk from walls and other applications where you’re removing something that is semi-rigid – the flexible blade helps get under what you’re trying to remove much easier than a ridgid blade.
But, there’s some tasks where you need a thicker scraper. The rigid scraper is more heavy-duty, and works well when you want to remove things such as dried adhesive or thinset from a subfloor. It’s also good for cleaning out the corners of a plunge cut or scraping dried/caked on grass from under a mower. The edge lasts a lot longer than the flexible scraper.
