A necessity for the cordless Dremel
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
If you really use your cordless Dremel a lot I'm sure you've felt the frustration of running out of battery power on a project. Having this spare backup battery had made me far more productive and I no longer have to stop for as few hours to charge my only battery.

Backup
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought this as a backup, as i always run out of battery while using my Dremel. For some reason the battery does not last for even 30 minutes on continuous use.

All that is advertised... and more
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I purchased a replacement battery for my Dremel 8000 cordless rotary tool when the original was inadvertently sent off with the unit to have the bushings replaced. *The original battery never went bad!!* I also must add that the unit - battery and all - was 4+ years old, had sustained HEAVY usage, and had lasted well beyond my expectations. As expected, the new battery works exactly as the original; it was even charged enough new out of the package to take care of a few minor tasks around the house before needing an 'initial charge'! Also, I must add that these batteries seem to have no 'memory', and will also keep a charge for weeks (or even months) if not used. Considering that I don't make a habit of commenting on products, I can't give enough praise to this product or this company. A definite asset to any workshop, garage, or household. (And, as proven by my past experience, in the rare event of a problem Dremel stands behind their products, which I'm sure is easy for them to do since there are seldom any problems to deal with).

Dremel Replacement Pack
Rating:4 out of 5 stars

I needed to replace a pack numbered 855-01 (10.8 volt) which I could not find anywhere. Apparently they have been discontinued by Dremel.

Nothing I could find indicated that the 855-02 pack was usable with my tool and charger.

I purchased this one and was pleased to find that it fits and works perfectly in both the tool and charger.

My Dremel is model 855 which is no longer available. Dremel now calls it model 856, which uses the 855-02 pack.
